Everly Fletcher has been matchmaking her way through Dublin, Ireland as she attends university focused solely on finding love for others. But when her flat mate asks Everly to help her twin brother just before she graduates and heads back to Colorado, Miss Matchmaker thinks she may have finally met a man who is beyond her masterminding capabilities.

Declan Reilly aka “Decker” is Trinity College’s infamous rugby rebel. He makes the description “tall, dark, and handsome” seem inferior. He stands at a towering six foot four. He’s mouthy, unkempt, wears a gold chain and has a reputation around campus as the man who collects red cards like souvenirs and hearts like they’re disposable. If it weren’t for his sister’s status as the superstar of the women’s rugby team, his professional rugby recruitment options would be nonexistent.

However, one burgeoning new team in Colorado is interested. They think his colorful reputation could help build the fanbase of their rugby program, but he needs to prove that he can get along with their team while attending their rugby camp in Denver and only then, can he earn a spot at end of summer tryout.

The stakes are high as this is Declan’s final scrum to accomplish the dream his parents had of seeing the Reilly twins both play professionally so he’ll do whatever it takes not to be the black sheep.

But when Everly Fletcher says Declan doesn’t need a girlfriend to help clean up his image just a full-on image rehab and proposes a different idea, he thinks this tall blonde American is off her rocker.

Now Declan is done with school and on a plane to Colorado where he’s agreed to live above a barn and volunteer at an animal sanctuary on some remote mountain for the Fletcher family all while he attempts to salvage whatever’s left of his rugby career.
